Halesi Mahadev Darshan Tour takes you to one of the important religious sites for the pilgrims in Nepal. Halesi Mahadev temple is located in the Khotang district of Nepal. It is around 222 km away from Kathmandu. We can reach the temple via bus, car, and Jeep to Halesi via the way of Dhulikhel, Khurkot, Ghurmi, Okhaldhunga, Jayaram and Halesi. It takes 8 to 9 hours to reach to the temple since the road is comparatively narrower.
Halesi temple has two feet long Shiva Linga that enshrines inside the cave. Similarly, it has two pillars close to each other of the Shiva Linga has made a narrow pass. There is a myth and people believed accordingly that the sinners could not pass through this passage. But the belief is that if people confess on the wrong deeds, that would enable them to access the pass. There has not any difficulty to visit the temple. Since the location is easily accessible, pilgrims can visit the temple around the year. Every year, thousands of devotees come to worship Lord Shiva with the belief that Halesi Mahadev blesses the poor with prosperity and the ignorant with the knowledge and wisdom.

01: Drive from Kathmandu to Halesi
You will enjoy the scenic drive of BP Highway crossing the major cities like Bhaktapur and Banepa. On the way, you have opportunity to visit Kuseshwor Mahadev Temple at the confluence of Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi rivers. Experiencing the fantastic rural activities and village life of eastern Nepal with varied terrain are the other attractions of the Journey.

02: Drive from Halesi Mahadev to Kathmandu
Early in the morning, visit Halesi Mahadev temple to pay your homage. The peculiar cave structure, several Shiva Linga structures are more unique to see in Halesi Mahadev Temple. The temple is equally visited by Hindu and Buddhist. Hindu believe the great master Guru Gorakhnath meditated there. The Buddhist visit the site as a sacred place where Guru Padhmasambhava meditated there.
